Enchanting and fairly clean place with an excellent view of the garden. A lot of food for an English breakfast. - Stunning position in the Tower with the nicest facilities.

I went on a weekend and everything here was amazing. The setting was stunning, near the Business Centre-a bland building which seemed more like student accommodation and restaurant and facilities and the public areas and bar. There was a broiler restaurant nearby;)))

The place was well priced. The hotel was quiet with polite personnel.

The whole ambience of the house with the neighbouring "castle" and the park were great. This offers many beautiful outdoor places for reading and relaxing. The location of the hotel is very well suited to view the important English gardens south of London. Day trips to London are also possible.

Our room was relatively small and the cleanliness could have been better.

The breakfast was rich and varied. The Porridge was the best on our English/Ireland trip so far. The service was very attentive, polite and respectful. Everything was freshly prepared.

Our bedroom didn't have a lock. Although nothing was lost or missing, it was still worrisome.

Rewritten Review: Everything was great at De Vere Horsley Estate in East Horsley. the place was clean, the staff were exceptional, and the location was marvelous. Plus, the restaurant served warm and delicious specialties. It will definitely be my first choice again in East Horsley.

High cost of room, although your price was the most reasonable! Very expensive breakfast.£10 Each. Good choice, but there is only so much one can eat. Awful coffee served at breakfast, not their usual standard. I have mentioned in feed back several times about fixing hairdryers in a drawer - very inconvenient especially as there is no mirror or decent lighting near the drawer. Must have been designed by a bald man!!! Total mix up over paying. Some money had been taken prior to our arrival. Thought we had that sorted out just to get a bill under our door each night - all incorrect. Glad we took our credit card statement with us. If we hadn't been honest the hotel would have lost out. We have stayed at the De Vere several times before without any problems, but in the future we will look at other places in the area. They seem to be more organised.
